What is Profhilo treatment?

Profhilo is a brand of injectable treatment that uses a Hyaluronic Acid based solution injected into the skin to provide a tighter and more plump appearance. The unique thing about this treatment is that the solution contains a high concentration of Hyaluronic Acid and a chemical structure that allows the solution to diffuse in the skin quickly.

The treatment involves injecting the Profhilo solution into the problem areas of the face that may contain wrinkles or skin laxity issues. The injected solution then disperses below the skin while stimulating your body’s natural production of elastin and collagen. After your first Profhilo Treatment

After your initial treatment, you may notice that the increased hydration has improved the appearance of your skin. You’ll notice that your skin may have a smoother texture than before, and wrinkles & fine lines are significantly reduced.

Results after just a single treatment will be subtle, and in some cases, it can take a number of days or even a week or two to notice the results.

After your second Profhilo treatment

Two sessions of Profhilo are recommended for those looking for a significant improvement in the appearance of their skin. Treatments are often spaced around four weeks apart between top-ups; however, two treatments are enough to see significant results. This is because your initial treatment will begin the process of stimulating the production of elastin and collagen in the skin, whereas the second treatment will act as an additional boost to enhance these effects.

Please note that, as previously mentioned, some patients may require additional treatments to achieve their desired results. Two treatments are recommended as a minimum; however, your practitioner will provide a more accurate recommendation at your initial consultation.

How long do the results of Profhilo last?
